Description

1/2″ Slip Ball Valve, Main Water Shut-Off Solution

This 1/2″ Slip Ball Valve is used for the reduction, isolation, or as a means of main shut-off of water flow on a specific PVC pipe. If you have a multi-sectioned irrigation system, ball valves are the perfect solution that can provides control over the different sections.

The 1/2″ slip ball valve is open when the ball’s hole is in line with the flow and closed when it is pivoted 90-degrees by turning the valve handle. The handle will  lie flat in alignment with the flow when open, and is perpendicular to it when closed, making for easy visual confirmation of the valve’s status.

Slip ball valves are usually placed before back-flows and electric valves. The slip ball valve is durable, performing well after many cycles, and reliable, closing securely even after long periods of not being used. They are a convenient, low-cost solution for your irrigation needs.
